Tameside Rotary proudly presents the 12th Tameside Beer Festival which this year returns to the fabulous Hyde Town Hall. Over the years the Beer Festival has become a firm fixture on Tameside’s social calendar raising thousands of pounds for charity.
Tameside Rotary Club, the organisers of Tameside Beer Festival, hope you, your family and friends have an enjoyable time at this major charity fundraiser. Why not sample a few of the 30 plus beers, lagers, ciders or wines on offer. It’s a great event to socialise, enjoy music and food whilst helping to raise money for two great causes which this year are Go Dharmic and Our Kids Eyes.
Entry is payable on the door (cash and/or card payments) and you will be able to buy tokens to exchange for drinks. Soft drinks, food and snacks will be available also. Rotarians are all volunteers. You will be able to recognise us – we are the ones wearing the Beer Festival T-shirts (although some other volunteers will be wearing them too).
We could not put on this event without the help of our sponsors and would like to thank them for their continued support.
So, please join us. Do come over and say ‘hello’. We’d love to meet you!
The Tameside Beer Festival is one of our major charity fundraisers. As we enter the 12th year of this amazing event, I remain confident that with your support and that of the local business community who provide vital sponsorship, we will deliver an amazing fun festival which brings the community together and raises £1000s for charity.
I look forward to seeing you there!
The original idea was to raise money towards the “End Polio Now” campaign. This is an initiative of Rotary International working with the World Health Organization started in 1985 with the intention of eradicating Polio from the world. From 2013 onwards it was decided to support some local charities. The 2023 Beer Festival was attended by nearly 1000 people over the 2 days, last year’s beer festival was a great success raising over £6,000 for charities and local causes.
The President has selected two very worthy causes that the majority of proceeds from this years event will go to: Go Dharmic and Our Kids Eyes (OKE)
