TAMESIDE BEER FESTIVAL 2026

WELCOME to the 14th Tameside Beer Festival

Tameside Rotary proudly presents the 14th Tameside Beer Festival at the fabulous Stalybridge Civic Hall.  Over the years the Beer Festival has become a firm fixture on Tameside’s social calendar raising thousands of pounds for charity.

Hello and Welcome to Tameside Beer Festival

Tameside Rotary Club, the organisers of Tameside Beer Festival, hope you, your family and friends have an enjoyable time at this major charity fundraiser.  Why not sample a few of the 30 plus beers, lagers, ciders or wines on offer.  It’s a great event to socialise, enjoy music and food whilst helping to raise money for four local Tameside dementia groups and charities.

Entry is payable on the door (cash and/or card payments) and you will be able to buy tokens to exchange for drinks.   Soft drinks, food and snacks will also be available.    Rotarians are all volunteers.  You will be able to recognise us – we are the ones wearing the Beer Festival T-shirts (although some other volunteers will be wearing them too).

We could not put on this event without the help of our sponsors and would like to thank them for their continued support.

So, please join us.  Do come over and say ‘hello’.  We’d love to meet you!

President's Statement

On behalf of Tameside Rotary, I welcome new and returning guests to the 2026 Annual Tameside Beer Festival. After the success of last year’s Beer Festival, we are absolutely delighted to be back at the amazing Stalybridge Civic Hall, it feels like home to us!

The Beer Festival is organised and run entirely by volunteers, without them, the event simply could not happen and vital funds for local charities would be lost. I would personally ask you to read the Programme in full to see if you could support the businesses and organisations that have advertised and sponsored this programme and support our on-line presence.

This year there is no specific single charity beneficiary but instead a collection of local dementia charities both for patients and care givers.

I hope you all enjoy yourselves at the festival with a range of beers, lagers, ciders and wines on offer as well as food and fabulous live music. Fundraising never tasted and sounded so good! You are helping these charities just by having fun!

Please do enjoy the event!

Amanda Reed-Raja

President, Tameside Rotary 2026-2027

Our History

The original idea was to raise money towards the “End Polio Now” campaign. This is an initiative of Rotary International working with the World Health Organization started in 1985 with the intention of eradicating Polio from the world. From 2013 onwards it was decided to support some local charities. The 2025 Beer Festival was attended by over 900 people over the 2 days, last year’s event enabled Tameside Rotary to donate around £9000 to nominated charities and local causes.

Charities

The President has selected four very worthy causes that the majority of proceeds from this years event will go to: St Georges Dementia Cafe (Stalybridge), Forget Me Not Buddies (Denton), Music in Mind (Tameside) and Dementia Care Support Group – Willow Wood.
