Tameside Rotary proudly presents the 13th Tameside Beer Festival which this year returns to its roots at the fabulous Stalybridge Civic Hall. Over the years the Beer Festival has become a firm fixture on Tameside’s social calendar raising thousands of pounds for charity.
Tameside Rotary Club, the organisers of Tameside Beer Festival, hope you, your family and friends have an enjoyable time at this major charity fundraiser. Why not sample a few of the 30 plus beers, lagers, ciders or wines on offer. It’s a great event to socialise, enjoy music and food whilst helping to raise money for two great causes which this year are Willow Wood Hospice and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust (Christies Hospital Manchester).
Entry is payable on the door (cash and/or card payments) and you will be able to buy tokens to exchange for drinks. Soft drinks, food and snacks will also be available. Rotarians are all volunteers. You will be able to recognise us – we are the ones wearing the Beer Festival T-shirts (although some other volunteers will be wearing them too).
We could not put on this event without the help of our sponsors and would like to thank them for their continued support.
So, please join us. Do come over and say ‘hello’. We’d love to meet you!
On behalf of Tameside Rotary, I welcome you to the 2025 Annual Tameside Beer Festival.
It’s also a pleasure to be back where we started in 2011 in the newly refurbished Stalybridge Civic Hall.
The event is organised and run entirely by volunteers without whom none of the monies we raise for charities could be achieved. Please also support the many businesses and organisations that advertise and sponsor us in the programme and on-line
Enjoy! the food, drink and company and have a great time.
I look forward to seeing you there!
Mike Glover
President, Tameside Rotary
The original idea was to raise money towards the “End Polio Now” campaign. This is an initiative of Rotary International working with the World Health Organization started in 1985 with the intention of eradicating Polio from the world. From 2013 onwards it was decided to support some local charities. The 2024 Beer Festival was attended by nearly 900 people over the 2 days, last year’s event has enabled Tameside Rotary to donate £5000 to two nominated charities and local causes.
The President has selected two very worthy causes that the majority of proceeds from this years event will go to: Willow Wood Hospice and The Christie Charity.
